Ned Lawson, Dirctor of the Duxbury Bay Maritime School talks about the school's project of designing a 'Green Building.' He spoke after a DBMS sponsored workshop open to the public on planning the building. The building will feature classroom space, administrative offices and boat storage. They are using a process called LEEDs, which has the planners look at many features of the building as they seek to minimize the environmental impact of the project.
